We offer CNC machining and fabrication and manufacturing services. We work in all materials – metals, plastics, composites, wood, fabrics. We make what your design calls for – on time and on budget!
What is CNC manufacturing?
CNC refers to Computer Numerical Control which is where a computer uses software to tell the spinning tool (such as a drill bit or a milling tool) where to go. This allows for precise and complex patterns (such as 3 dimensional contours) to be machined out of the material in a repeatable and consistent manner, day in day out, 1st part to 100th part. For instance, using our CNC machines, we can precisely drill a series of holes and then tap the holes (make a thread in the holes), mill out straight slots or curved slots, mill out pockets, create bosses, and so on. We can translate your design or computer aided drawing (CAD) to make it on our CNC machines using Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software. Whatever your machining design is, we can make it!
Some of our CNC machines available to work for you:
- Three vertical CNC mills (the largest of which has a working volume of 50 inches by 30 inches by 30 inches and can hold up to a 2000 pound part).
- A CNC lathe which can precisely turn cylindrical parts up to 18 inches in diameter and 40 inches long.
- A CNC router table which can precisely cut out or drill large flat parts up to 8 feet by 12 feet in plastics, composites, wood or aluminum.
For fabrication services, we offer many additional types of operations:
- tube or rod bending, to multiple repeatable angles, using a hydraulic bender machine
- welding of metals, using a MIG welder
- ultrasonic welding of plastics and plastic fabrics, using a utlrasonic press welder
- pressing, forming and punching (such as tube end finishing, press fitting into a hole, punching holes with dies)
- grinding of cylindrical parts to precise dimensions.
For ancillary services we offer kitting, assembly and warehousing/shipping of items.
